호리아트스페이스는 1월 27일부터 2월 28일까지 유기주 작가의 개인전 《그림자 사냥꾼》을 개최합니다.
유기주는 신체적 감각의 균열을 통해 마주한 심연의 풍경을 ‘검은 입자’와 ‘그림자’로 재구성하여, 보이지 않는 존재의 실재를 증명합니다. 이번 전시의 제목인 '그림자 사냥꾼(Hunting the Unseen)'은 눈에 보이는 형상이 아닌, 그 이면에 은폐된 ‘보이지 않는 것’을 집요하게 추적하는 작가의 태도를 상징합니다. 흑백의 심연과 감각의 잔상이 뒤섞인 공간 속에서, 사물의 본질을 향한 작가의 치열한 응시가 시작됩니다.

Yoo Ki-Joo reconstructs the landscapes of the abyss—encountered through fissures in physical sensation—using ‘black particles’ and ‘shadows,’ thereby attesting to the reality of invisible existence. The exhibition title, Hunting the Unseen (Shadow Hunter), symbolizes the artist’s relentless pursuit of the ‘unseen’ concealed beneath the surface, rather than mere visible forms. Within a space where black-and-white abysses and sensory afterimages intermingle, the artist’s intense gaze toward the essence of matter begins.
