HORI Artspace is moving to Samcheong-dong and will be hosting a solo exhibition of artist Lim Hee-jo’s 《Growing into Happiness》 as the first event in the new space. Artist Lim Hee-jo has been reflecting on familiar scenes and trivial emotions, and repeating the process of finding her own colors and compositions within them.
In this solo exhibition, which is being held for the first time in three years, the artist has presented familiar scenes of everyday life in harmonious colors and stable compositions. The artworks go beyond simple representation and approach the viewer with a formal language that organizes emotions and evokes memories.
