송하영
송하영(Song Ha Young, b.1987)은 홍익대학교 일반대학원 회화과에서 석사 및 박사학위를 취득하고, 회화를 중심으로 경계, 색, 면, 구조의 관계를 탐구해온 작가이다. 그는 일상에서 관찰되는 경계와 흔적을 출발점으로, 움직임과 리듬, 온도와 같은 미세한 감각을 색면, 선, 기하학적 구조로 재구성하며 평면회화의 확장 가능성을 모색해왔다. 그의 작업은 화면 안에서 서로 다른 층위와 구조가 충돌하고 스며드는 관계를 형성하며, 평면에 머무르지 않고 입체적 구조와 공간적 경험으로 이어진다. 최근 개인전으로는 《구조의 결, 움직이는 면》(모나밸리 갤러리, 아산, 2026), 《HIDDEN PIECE》(신촌문화발전소, 서울, 2025), 《Re:Sense》(다이브서울, 서울, 2024),등이 있으며, 60여 회 이상의 단체전 및 기획전에 참여하였다. 국제색채초대전 베스트 작품상(2025), 인카네이션 문화예술재단 예술상(2023)을 수상하였으며, 고양시 지역 예술가(2022)에 선정된 바 있다. 작품은 여수시립미술관, 양평군립미술관, 서울시, 서대문구청, 전라남도문화재단 등 주요 기관 및 개인에게 소장되어 있다.
Song Ha Young (b. 1987) holds an M.F.A. and Ph.D. in Painting from Hongik University Graduate School, and has built a practice centered on painting that explores the relationships among boundary, color, plane, and structure. Taking boundaries and traces observed in everyday life as a starting point, she reconstructs subtle sensations—movement, rhythm, temperature—through color fields, lines, and geometric structures, probing the expansive possibilities of flat painting. Within the picture plane, distinct layers and structures collide and permeate one another, and her work extends beyond the two-dimensional surface into three-dimensional structure and spatial experience. Recent solo exhibitions include 《Texture of Structure, Moving Planes》 (Monavalley Gallery, Asan, 2026), 《HIDDEN PIECE》 (Sinchon Arts Space, Seoul, 2025), and 《Re:Sense》 (Dive Seoul, Seoul, 2024), alongside participation in more than 60 group and curated exhibitions. She has received the Best Color Work Award at the International Color Invitational Exhibition (2025) and the Art Award from the Incarnation Cultural Foundation (2023), and was selected for the Goyang Cultural Bridge Program (2022). Her work is held in the collections of major institutions and private collectors, including the Yeosu Museum of Art, Yangpyeong Museum of Art, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Seodaemun District Office, and the Jeonnam Cultural Foundation.
