이은경
이은경(Lee Eunkyung, b.1993)은 서울대학교 미술대학에서 동양화를 졸업하고 동 대학원에서 석사과정을 마쳤다. 작가는 불화(不和)의 경험, 즉 자신과 세상 사이에서 발생하는 갈등과 마찰의 감각을 그림으로 불러내어 새롭게 쓴다. 작업 속 인물들은 주류에서 밀려난 타자들로, 발언권 없이 벌거벗은 몸으로 전진하며 억울함과 수치심을 토해낸다. 화선지에 스케치 없이 낙서하듯 드로잉하는 방식을 통해 자기검열 없이 감정을 쏟아내고, 이를 회화로 다듬어 밀려나는 이들의 감각을 보는 이와 나누고자 한다. 첫 개인전으로 OCI YOUNG CREATIVES 《수도꼭지 연대기》(OCI 미술관, 서울, 2026)를 개최했다. 《Four Vignettes》(라니서울, 서울, 2026), 《DTC 청년작가 프로젝트》(dtc 아트센터, 대전, 2025), 전남국제수묵비엔날레 《잠들지 않는 이들을 위한 노래 Nocturne》(목포, 2025), 《머리 어깨 발 무릎 발》(우석갤러리, 서울, 2025), 《미종결사건》(우석갤러리, 서울, 2024) 등 다수의 기획전 및 단체전에 참여하였다. 
Lee Eunkyung (b. 1993) received her B.F.A. and M.F.A. in Korean painting from Seoul National University. Her practice summons and rewrites the experience of bulhwa — the friction and conflict that arises between the self and the world. The figures in her work are those pushed to the margins, advancing bare and voiceless, releasing feelings of injustice and shame. Working on hanji with a spontaneous, doodle-like drawing method and no preliminary sketching, she pours emotion without self-censorship, then refines these drawings into paintings that invite viewers to share in the sensations of the displaced. She held her debut solo exhibition OCI Young Creatives: Chronicle of the Faucet (OCI Museum of Art, Seoul, 2026). She has participated in group exhibitions including Four Vignettes (Lani Seoul, Seoul, 2026), DTC Young Artist Project (DTC Art Center, Daejeon, 2025), Jeonnam International Sumuk Biennale: Nocturne — A Song for the Sleepless (Mokpo, 2025), Head Shoulders Knees and Toes (Woosouk Gallery, Seoul, 2025), and Unsolved Cases (Woosouk Gallery, Seoul, 2024).
