Park Sung min (b. 1968) graduated from the Department of Painting at Hongik University and received his graduate degree from the same institution. He began attracting significant attention in the art world after receiving the Grand Prize at the 23rd Korea Art Grand Exhibition (2004), the Dong-A Art Award at the 27th Dong-A Art Festival (2004), and the Grand Prize at the 4th Shin Saimdang Art Exhibition (2003). He has held twelve solo exhibitions in Korea and abroad, including Seoul, Busan, and Germany. He has participated in numerous curated exhibitions and group shows, including Art For All: AIPE Children Special Charity Exhibition (Hori Art Space, AIPE Lounge, Seoul, 2023), Mom! I'm Sorry It's Fake (Jeju Museum of Art, Jeju, 2022), Park Seong-min · Yoon Byung-rak: Two-Person Exhibition (Vidi Gallery, Seoul, 2019), Reconstruction of Scenes: SCENES vs SCENES (Seoul Museum of Art SeMA Buk-Seoul, Seoul, 2013), and Hyperrealist Painting – Deceiving the Eye (Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul, 2011), among others. His works are held in institutional and private collections including the Seoul Museum of Art, Yongin Folk Museum, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Arts Council Korea, Hongik University Museum of Contemporary Art, Geoje Samsung Hotel, Gangneung City Hall, Andong MBC, Gyeongju Korea Education & Research Institute, Ilsan Samsung Medical Center, and Ulsan East-West Power Co., Ltd.
