윤종석
윤종석(1970-)은 한남대학교 미술교육과와 같은 대학의 일반대학원 미술학과를 졸업했다. 호리아트스페이스, 아이프 라운지에서 ‘창백한 푸른 점’을 포함, 서울과 대전, 일본ㆍ이탈리아ㆍ중국ㆍ싱가포르 등에서 21회의 개인전을 가졌다. 그동안 2006 화랑미술제 Best Top 10 작가 선정, 롯데화랑 유망작가 지원 프로그램 선정, 대한민국청년비엔날레 청년미술상, 대한민국미술대전 우수상 및 특선, 대전광역시 초대작가상 등을 수상했다. 또한 중국 베이징 아트사이드스튜디오, 장흥가나스튜디오, 프랑스 파리씨떼 예술공동체, 대만 타이페이 아티스트빌리지 등의 레시던시 프로그램에 초대되어 참여했다. 그의 작품은 코오롱, 하나은행, 외교통상부, 두바이왕실, 벤타코리아, ㈜파라다이스, 아트센터 쿠, 가나아트센터, 대전시립미술관, 서울시립미술관, 보바스 기념병원. 골프존 문화재단, 제주현대미술관, 스텐다드 차타드 은행, 국립현대미술관 미술은행, 수원시립미술관, 롯데미술관 등에 소장되어 있다. 현재 남양주 개인 작업실 ‘과수원스튜디오’에서 전업 작가로 활동 중이다.
Yoon Jong-seok (b. 1970) graduated from the Department of Art Education at Hannam University and subsequently completed his graduate studies in Fine Arts at the same institution. He has held 21 solo exhibitions in Seoul, Daejeon, Japan, Italy, China, and Singapore — including Pale Blue Dot at HORI ART SPACE and IOPE Lounge, among others. Over the course of his career, he has received numerous awards and honors, including selection as a Best Top 10 Artist at the 2006 Hwarang Art Fair, the Lotte Gallery Emerging Artist Support Program, the Young Artist Award at the Korea Youth Biennale, the Excellence Award and Special Selection at the Korea Grand Art Exhibition, and the Daejeon Metropolitan City Invited Artist Award. He has also participated in residency programs at Art Side Studio in Beijing, China; Jangheung Gana Studio; Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, France; and Taipei Artist Village in Taiwan. His works are held in collections including Kolon, Hana Bank, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Dubai Royal Family, Venta Korea, Paradise Co., Ltd., Art Center Ku, Gana Art Center, Daejeon Museum of Art, Seoul Museum of Art, Bovas Memorial Hospital, Golfzon Cultural Foundation, Jeju Museum of Contemporary Art, Standard Chartered Bank, the Art Bank of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Suwon Museum of Art, and Lotte Museum of Art. He is currently working as a full-time artist at his private studio, Orchard Studio, in Namyangju.
